Substitute Blogger

Regular readers might notice a slight difference today. After a two month hiatus, mom has been busy being lazy and has slowly allowed this blog to wilt away. So being the dad, I've decided to step up until mom recovers from her busy schedule.

KK celebrated her 15th month yesterday while catching a slight cold. We dined out to also celebrate aunty Fe's 61st birthday. The whole family hung out a bit at my place after dinner and this is where KK just put on a show. Showing everyone all her toys was just the beginning. More advanced exhibitions like putting teddy bear to sleep, cuddling teddy bear and lowering her voice to a whisper while teddy bear was sleeping were all part of the second act. She then turned to her entire sign language repertoire (bus, hat, boat, book, car, coat, bird, blanket, brush teeth etc.) Other entertainment that followed were ball throwing, dancing and just fooling around with the uncles and grandparents. Needless to say, she was knocked out once everyone left. Nothing but the sound of her stuffy nose to close out the night.
